Sushi Blue in Lexington

It's a must to get sushi here! Customer service is on point. Sushi is fresh! Drinks are superb. You will not regret your time here! Oh and the Fried cheesecake is crazy good!

Excellent sushi place near UK campus, but filled with locals, not students. Wife loved the teriyaki shrimp bowl (she won't do anything raw other than veggies), and daughter and I enjoyed the sushi.

We absolutely LOVE Sushi Blue. We have been coming here for years, the owner is a sweetheart and a hard worker. The food and drinks are amazing. Great place to celebrate.

Amazing sushi. Sorry for the half eaten food in the picture but it was literally so good I didn't think about taking a picture until I was halfway through and it's got amazing presentation so I'm personally a little disappointed in myself. If you go here and are disappointed in them then either something is very wrong or you need to rethink your life because I love this place. Best sushi in Lexington hand down in my opinion.

Love the atmosphere here, the food is amazing. Better yet, the owner! She is such a hardworking individual who deserves the world, and I’m happy to see her business flourishing. Nonetheless, the employees are super nice and you can tell they work hard to keep their guests happy!

I can’t say enough good about Sushi Blue! Not only is their presentation wonderful the sushi is amazing! They have all the sushi you could ever imagine. The deserts are so delicious, the mango ice cream and chocolate cake are my favorites. They have great drinks, great food, and the owner, Sarah is so wonderful and has created a wonderful dining experience. 15/10 would recommend.

Wonderful sushi!! I got the spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and Alaska rolls. They were all very tasty!!! Next time I'm in Lex, I'll be sure to come back here...just wish they opened earlier than 6pm.

Bento box was very good- crispy tempura, spicy chicken etc... sushi with rice and spicy sauce was good combo!

It is a bit pricey as to be expected with good Japanese food, but besides that they have delicious food and great service

I really do love this place. This is my third time here and I have never had a bad meal. The sushi is outstanding in all of their appetizers are so tasty. I got the sushi on fire which is a spectacle in the first place but also insanely tasty. That is shrimp in the roll but also because it was cooked the outside of the sushi is nice and crispy. I had other rolls here and they're all just a good and I will be coming back again and again. I would highly recommend anyone coming here if they enjoy sushi. Probably my favorite in Lexington.

Our server was super patient and helpful, even took time to talk to us each time we would ask a question about anything on the menu or what someone nearby had ordered. The food itself was just as awesome, with the Miso Soup in particular standing out to me. Normally I find that it's a bit too bitter or stock-ey at most places, but these guys nailed it. I had the Beef (Bulgoki) Dinner Box, which was admittedly a bit pricey at around $16, but what I got was well worth that price in quantity alone. Everything tasted about as perfect as one could hope, and it was all the perfect temperature to eat right away as well. Definitely going to come back in the future, especially so I can try one (Or all) of the Five Oceans cocktails!

Amazing sushi, sashimi, and tempura!!!! Will definitely come back to eat here. Sitting outside the weather was great the service was amazing!!! Wish I wasn't on this diet, they have a banana tempura desert that looks to kill for!!

I'm so happy I found this gem in Lexington. The atmosphere is exactly what you want in a modern sushi restaurant... the sushi was very filling and delicious. I had the Spicy Crab Salad Roll (it's not too spicy) and for an appetizer I had the Monkey Avocado as an appetizer and I highly recommend it! They give you a very generous piece of Avocado. Will be back for more!

So great that they serve Sushi until midnight. Sarah is extremely friendly and helpful. Fantastic food with a great sake and beer menu to match.

Clean, fantastic service, nice quiet environment. My husband and I went there on our anniversary and we got seated right away, no reservations needed. We've also been there after volleyball games. Try the "sushi on fire". It's literally sushi on 🔥

We were in town visiting family and discovered this great sushi place by accident while looking for some late-night dinner. Was clean, had a nice ambiance, the sushi was delicious, and our server James was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. We definitely plan on stopping by again next time we're in town.

If i could give 6 stars I would! Best sushi I've had by far, and service was excellent they were professional and helpful with their menu. Very small intimate kind of restaurant, they didn't hesitate to clean the corner booth for us when we asked! 6 out of 5 stars! 110% recommend.

Great sushi and awesome desert, too! Definitely try the tempura banana. Place gets quite busy, so you may need to wait.

My husband is not a fan of sushi whatsoever. It's the texture. When I found this place had a few deep fried rolls to shut him up; off we went. So far I have tried almost every roll they have and to date my favorite is the Pasadena Roll. Seaweed salad is good, not too keen on the presentation in a martini glass, but hey, it works.Prices are fair. They do not scrimp. The place is clean and relaxing.

The sushi has always proven to be very nice. Customer service has always been on top. My only issue is that the rest is inconsistent. My orders have sometimes been missing items (owner was very nice about helping) and wait time on orders have been extremely long. I will definitely continue to order from here, but I have learned to check my order before leaving as I drive a bit of a long way to get there.
